JOB REQUIREMENTS:
We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant with a mind for business and a positive deadline-driven attitude. Starting pay is a stipend and all possibilities for raises are based on work performance. This is a part-time contract position. We offer flexible scheduling and ideally prefer someone who would like to spread out their working time – early birds, night owls and everything in between. Our Managers will always stay in contact with all of our Interns throughout the day via email and/or phone. Good communication is essential for our growth here as well as yours.
Overall:
- Marketing our company online and offline
- Assist owner with projects
Social Networking:
- Manage marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities
- Participate as assigned on teams ensuring team support needs are met;
- Maintain a timeline of action items;
- Assist Program staff in development of internal and external marketing material;
- Assist with promotional activities
- Coordinate external mailings, invitations, tracking RSVPs, copying, organizing and distributing marketing materials and other details as needed;
- Assist with production of presentations and formatting of internal and external documents;
- Gather information as requested for team-related activities;
- Maintain appropriate electronic and paper files as assigned;
- Prepare standard marketing reports and special reports as assigned;
- Perform general support activities and carry out special projects as required;
- You will be taught how to find good content in order to help us generate more customer leads on the internet.
- You will research and find relevant article websites on a regular basis in order to increase higher rankings for our business on the internet. This is not limited to search engine optimization.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing privacy and data security
- Analyze questionnaires
- Adhere to FHS core and staff values
Eligibility:
- BS/BA degree preferred but not required.
- Skills, knowledge and qualities:
After receiving marketing training, assistants should be proficient in the following areas:
- Managing multiple tasks effectively with frequent interruptions and work productively in a fast paced, rapidly growing organization
- Using the Internet as a daily research tool
- Utilizing technology to improve work efficiency
- Mastery of Office 365 including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
In addition should demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and qualities:
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Knowledge of basic health, nutrition, and fitness principles
- Commitment to the mission of the organization that is offering the program
- Flexibility to work with people from all walks of life
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be flexible with changing job requirements as the team grows
- The ability to adapt to change and meet challenges
- Reliability, integrity and responsibility
